Mom's preparing lunch and I just cleared a bunch of rubbish from my room, all the universities' prospectus & brochures which i didn't bother clearing out since June? oops.
Most likely heading out to meet cuzzies later about 3 at town. I'm looking for sandals/tops/satchels! I need affordable satchels for school next sem!

Todai buffet

HI FOLKS.

Just a quick update! It's almost a week into the holidays alrdy! oh no :( But this week has been fruitful and fun heh. So... on friday night bf stayed over after a trip to Bugis w him! Went for a swim right before dinner and then slacked the night away watching Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell on youtube, both starring Gordon Ramsay. It was amazing how restaurants and hotels can be sooooo dirty! Well, we finally slept at 12-ish cos we were kinda tired. He said I drooled LOLOL. Love it when he's over haha. 

We booked a reservation at Todai @ MBS for lunch the next day so we had a lighter breakfast and prepared to head out for our BUFFET ^^

These 2 were my favourite stations haha. & I loved the sashimi, beef ribs, smoked duck, lamb and all the MEAT! haha. I have to say it was pretty good! Didn't really touch the chinese area with the veges and all those 'normal' stuff we could cook on our own at home. Wanted to make the buffet price worth it, just like a typical Singaporean lol. I know I ate SO MUCH crab legs and oysters that bf exclaimed haha. He's not much of a seafood eater sadly.

Some crab legs, oysters, smoked duck, and FRIED KOREAN GINSENG (if you can spot it!)! I finished it though. Used to taking Ginseng at home. Plus I drizzled a little honey so it was sweeter

I had yoghurt to aid in digestion haha. & the eclair was good! choc custard in it, unlike some places  that just pipe in whipped cream

Was shopping in Victoria's Secret when we saw this. Usually it isn't activated but on saturday it was? haha. Jack was in VS watching this year's fashion show and kept going "THE MODELS SO HOT SIOLLLLL" LOLOL.

Taking a stroll to Gardens by the Bay after our FILLING meal. haha. needed time to digest!

It doesn't look hot in this picture, but the afternoon sun was SCORCHING! soooo...being lazy bums, we decided to walk back and not go further haha

CRABBB CRABBBB

So this was the day before where we headed to Bugis for some shopping and gelato hehe. I kept refilling the marshmallows cos they were so chewy and blended so well with the chocolate truffle ice cream. The other flavour we ordered was Pink Guava which wasn't too bad as well. But the boy absolutely loved the chocolate :)

LIBERATION...for a month!

So today marks the end of my first semester in NTU. hmmm. have to say i've met great friends though i didn't go for orientation and stuff hehe. 3.5 more years of school! #LEGGO!
I really hope to get a decent GPA for this sem! The seniors said always to do well in the first year to buffer the disastrous grades in year 2 :/ Well, the papers were only okay/average, and I have no idea what standards the professors want. so yupz. We'll see how it goes!

Today, I shopped alone for the first time in my life (for the better part of the afternoon). whoop whoop. Some quiet, self-brooding time after the last paper. haha. But I felt weird not having anyone to talk to? Really need to earn some money but this holiday's too short I feel. Running low on savings. The months of Dec, Jan, & Feb are the months where i usually spend the most. But I can't help it! :X Bought Chewy Junior for the family with the voucher that was in the HSS Study Pack and went to meet Dad before going home tgt. :)

Gonna go catch up on my TV series and books this month long break! Gonna go meet up with all ma HOMIES this hol. Haven't seen so many of them in so long. yay! & yes, I need to start gymming/swimming/exercising/volleyballing haha.

MY SANDALS!

Okay, so the most exciting thing that happened to me today was that my FAVOURITE PAIR OF IPANEMA SANDALS BROKE! sigh. I was so depressed! And the boyf kept laughing at my misery. hmph! Oh well. Shall attempt to glue it back tmrw morning.
On the bright side, at least it broke while I was in Tampines, and not in some ulu area with no shops haha. So yupppp... headed to Royal Sporting House where they had a 20% discount off Ipanema flip flops & got a beige one.

Hehe. So that's my adventure for the day!
& I can't wait to go shopping with Hayati next tues when my Finals end! :)

I haven't blogged in forever. So long that I feel weird typing this out :/
OH WELL. just settled all the nuffnang ads stuff & the layout. Can't think of a better, cooler, kickass URL, so I shall stick to MELMEOWS for now haha. Pretty lame...but...WHO CARES?! :X

2nd paper of my uni life today. HS1002 Singapore Society in Transition. ugh. I think the paper was manageable yet crossing over to difficult. sigh. it's okay! IT'S JUST ONE MODULE IN THIS ENTIRE 4 YEARS. Depressing thought though.
